Biography: Commercial Litigation

Mr Atai is the senior partner and head of the law offices of A A Atai & Associates, which is listed in Legal 500 current edition as one of the reputable international law firms in Tehran.

Mr Atai is a specialist in commercial and international business and litigation. The firm is available to advise clients on a wide range of business matters from setting up a branch or representative office and investing in free trade zones, to establishing joint ventures, acquisition and participating in major economic projects. The varied expertise of the firm's lawyers ensure efficient and thorough handling of client needs including; company formation, agency and licensing, asset and project finance, distribution and supply agreements, insurance, shipping, and taxation. In addition, the firm possesses excellent litigation capability and is highly experienced in commercial dispute resolutions.

Mr Atai qualified to practise in 1973 and has actively practised in the above fields since that time. Mr Atai graduated from University of Tabriz in 1966 (BA English Literature), from University of Tehran in 1970 (LLB), from University of Iran (MA Law) and is a member of the Iranian Bar Association.
