Biography: Arbitration

'Dapo is a partner in the dispute resolution department at AELEX. His practice is focused on commercial litigation, arbitration, tax and aviation. He has several years' experience in these practice areas and has practised extensively before all the superior courts of record in Nigeria. He has acted as counsel in domestic and international arbitration proceedings. He represents international flag carriers in matters ranging from passenger, cargo and baggage claims to insurance disputes.

'Dapo is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the UK Chartered Institute of Arbitration (MCI Arb). He is also a fellow of the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Taxation and a member of the Nigerian Aviation Law Society.

He holds an LLB degree from the University of Benin (1987) and an LLM degree from the University of Lagos (2003). He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1988 and as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2009. He was appointed a Notary Public in 2006.
