He was part of the team that advised on the acquisition of controlling interest in the most advanced gold exploration project in Nigeria; assisted client in the establishment of a local subsidiary, from incorporation to commencement of business including the acquisition of all investment approvals; mineral titles and business premises; reviewed the JVA and supporting documentation; advised on issues relating to taxation, labour, employment, immigration and technology transfer. He is currently advising on the transition of a multimillion dollar steel rolling mill privatised by the government of Nigeria to a Ukrainian firm as the preferred bidder. He was part of the team that advised the Nigerian subsidiary of an Australian mining company on the acquisition of controlling interests in a number of mining exploration projects; advised on proposed project structures; drafted and reviewed the JVAs and supporting documentation.
Wole holds an LLB from the University of Ife, Nigeria. He is a member of the International Bar Association, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, the Nigerian Environmental Law Society and the Nigerian Bar Association.
