He is currently the chair of the tax committee of the section on business law of the Nigerian Bar Association.
A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Theo served as the vice chair of the tax law review committee of the Institute. He contributed the chapter on international taxation in the CITN Nigerian Tax Guides and Statutes. He was formerly the deputy editor of the Nigerian Tax Notes as well as deputy editor of the Oil and Gas Law and Taxation Review. He is also a member of the section on taxation law of the IBA.
