Frederik van Nouhuys has more than 11 years experience with public procurement. He advises and litigates on all aspects in this area of law. His clients are contracting entities as well as contractors. Inter alia his expertise includes tenders for public service concessions regarding public transportation and real estate development. Frederik is known for his business-focused approach of public procurement issues and for his dynamic and convincing performance in court.
Frederik lectures on a regular basis on public procurement for several universities and institutes, like the Vrije Universiteit Law Academy, Grotius Postgraduate Academy, Academie voor de Rechtspraktijk and the Institute for Construction Law. Together with Erik Pijnacker Hordijk and Bommel van der Bend he is also author of Aanbestedingsrecht, the Dutch standard book on public procurement, of which the fourth edition was issued in September 2009.
