Tunde presently represents Nigerian as well as foreign and multinational clients in arbitration and before arbitral institutions, such as the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC.
Tunde obtained a Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB honours) from the University of Ife, Ile Ife, Nigeria and an LLM from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1987 and 1991 respectively. He is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (admitted 1988). In December 2008, Tunde was conferred with the rank of senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) by the Nigerian Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee. SAN is the Nigerian equivalent of Queen's Counsel.
He is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, Civil Liberties Organisation and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Tunde has been a counsel of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Arbitration, Case No. 11054/ESR/TE, documents-only arbitration (shareholder dispute); a lead counsel of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Arbitration, Case No. 11219/ESR (in London, contractual dispute); and an expert witness in American Arbitration Association (AAA) Case No. 50 T 168 000082 (in Madrid, in 2003, a shareholder dispute).
Tunde participated in the International Arbitration Seminar: Transnational Arbitration Issues in Emerging Markets (jointly organised by Aluko & Oyebode and Clyde & Co) Lagos, Nigeria (February 2011). He was also a speaker at the ICC UK Annual Arbitration Practitioners' Symposium, London, England (July 2010). Tunde has contributed several articles to the Maritime Newsletter - Quarterly Journal of Maritime Law in Nigeria.
