Marc Russenberger is a member of Wenger Plattner's litigation, arbitration and insolvency practice groups.
He graduated from the University of Zurich in 1986 (Dr iur) and worked in an Australian law firm in Melbourne and Sydney from 1988 to 1989.
Marc Russenberger's practice focuses on insolvency-related litigation such as avoidance and liability claims, general contract law, M&A and joint venture disputes, construction and civil engineering projects, international commodity sales, restitution, private international law (conflict of law) and recognition of foreign judgments and arbitral awards. Marc Russenberger disposes of special expertise in attachment and freezing procedures of Swiss bank accounts. He has experience in successfully freezing assets of a foreign state.
In addition, Marc Russenberger has published and presented on topics of his main focus. He has co-authored an IBA book on privileges and confidentiality and several commentaries on Swiss insolvency law (section relating to the first creditors' meeting and section relating to prescription periods respectively).
