Biography: Mergers and Acquisitions
Barry is the head of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer's corporate finance practice, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and corporate governance. His clients include Mars, Tesco, Invensys, Linde, Smith & Nephew, Petrofac, Marstons and Clarksons. Barry also advises a number of banks including HSBC, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Northern Rock, Deutsche Bank, Rothschilds and Credit Suisse.Barry also advises Lloyd's of London, having worked on the introduction of corporate capital and its successful restructuring in 1996.
Barry was born in 1952 and educated at University College London.
