Rabih Nasser assists clients in a range of other issues related to international trade and customs laws, such as international contracts, import licensing, customs duties, trade negotiations, advice regarding international treaties and commercial arbitration. The firm has also been assisting Brazilian companies interested in investing abroad. The international trade team is also composed by Luciana Costa, Anderson Stefani and other associates.
Nasser is also active in the academic field. He holds PhD and Master degrees in international economic law, from USP and PUC-SP law schools, has published two books about WTO agreements (WTO and developing countries (Aduaneiras, 2003) and Liberalization of international trade in the GATT-WTO rules (LTr - 1999)) and co-authored many others. He writes regularly about issues of international trade and investments.
Besides being a lawyer, Rabih Nasser is currently a professor at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas Law School in São Paulo (Direito GV), where he teaches international trade law and is in charge of training students to deal with and handle matters involving international law.
