Co-leader of the firm's capital markets and mergers and acquisitions practice, Frank Allen focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and corporate law matters.Internationally recognised as a leading mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and corporate lawyer, Frank has extensive experience advising on complex business transactions for public issuer, board, investor, private equity and investment dealer clients. He has served as general counsel at the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) and has been a member of various securities advisory and disclosure advisory committees to the OSC.
Frank is a frequent speaker and writer, and presents papers at various industry and professional conferences.
Frank was called to the Ontario Bar in 1980 and the Alberta Bar in 1996. He was educated at the University of Toronto (BA, 1973), York University (MBA, 1975) and Osgoode Hall Law School (LLB, 1978).
