Biography: Life Sciences

Sarah is a solicitor and a partner in the firm's London office. She focuses on defending products liability litigation. She has acted for a major UK pharmaceutical PLC in one of the largest UK product liability group actions and has a detailed knowledge of the law and practice of pharmaceutical/products liability litigation in the UK.

Sarah has also spent a significant amount of time in the United States gaining experience of US litigation. Since joining SHB, Sarah has worked on product liability cases in a number of European jurisdictions.

In addition to products liability litigation, Sarah has considerable experience in commercial litigation. She has acted in a wide range of contract disputes for a variety of clients in engineering, chemical and construction industries.

Sarah is the author of several articles on topics such as jurisdictional issues, e-discovery and class actions, and a book chapter on pharmaceutical medicine and the law. She has also spoken at seminars on product liability issues and class actions. She has been included in Expert Guides: Guide to the World's Leading Product Liability Lawyers since 2007 and Who's Who Legal: The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers since 2009.
