Peter Archie, a partner in Perkins Coie's business practice, has substantial experience advising aircraft purchasers, sellers, lessors and lessees in domestic and international transactions.

He draws on more than 30 years' experience in a broad range of domestic and international aircraft activities, including the purchase and sale of new and used aircraft; the sale of aircraft parts and charter businesses; aircraft operating, finance and leveraged leases; conventional and "reverse" like-kind exchanges of aircraft; analysis of fractional interest programmes and negotiations with fractional operators; negotiating charter agreements; US registration of foreign-owned aircraft; aircraft construction, maintenance and management contracts; FAA compliance and lease restructuring. Clients include airframe and parts manufacturers, charter operators and customers, general aviation operators, fractional owners, aircraft leasing companies and aircraft lessees. In addition to aircraft experience, Peter's practice includes other types of asset-based work, especially project finance transactions.

Peter's undergraduate degree is from the University of North Carolina. He graduated cum laude from Duke Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Journal and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He is admitted to the bar in Oregon and Washington.
