Admitted as attorney by the PRC Ministry of Justice in 1987, Mr Jin has over 20 years of in-depth experience, particularly in aviation, insurance, shipping and company law, among other areas. Notably, he has significant experience in all phases of litigation and has offered a wide range of services to many prominent international airline companies, including United Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, Korean Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airlines, Dragonair Airlines, Malaysia Airlines and Austrian Airlines, and their respective insurers or reinsurers. Moreover, he was proudly selected by a London syndicate to deal with personal injury and property claims arising from the Korean Airlines crash in Shanghai on 15 April 2001. Recently he has been acting for Cargolux and Alliance, along with eight co-insurers, for insurance indemnity claims worth $14 million and also acting for Bombardier and USAU following the Baotou air crash in 2004.
Mr Jin is now legal counsel to the government of Shanghai Pudong New Area, director of China Aviation Law Association and arbitrator of the CCPIT mediation committee. Additionally, he is vice chairman of Inter-Pacific Bar Association (aviation committee), Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and arbitrator of Singapore International Arbitration Centre.
