Marshall S Sinick leads Squire, Sanders & Dempsey's transportation group. He represents airlines, aviation-related businesses and civic organisations. His broad range of experience includes representing aviation clients before the US Department of Transportation, the Department of State, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Justice, the US Senate and House of Representatives, and various federal and state courts.

Mr Sinick's recent experience includes advising airlines and aviation-related businesses on a wide spectrum of commercial and corporate matters, including antitrust counselling and investigations, marketing alliances, code-sharing agreements, acquisitions, route sales and computer reservations systems. He defends airlines and aviation-related businesses in commercial and criminal litigation, and administrative enforcement proceedings, and counsels on global aviation issues involving the United States and international governments. The firm's transportation group clients include Alaska Airlines, bmi, Lan Airlines, Mexicana, Taca Airlines and Kingfisher Airlines.

In the 2007 edition of Chambers USA, Mr Sinick was named a national leading lawyer in aviation regulation. He also served as chair of the American Bar Association's aviation law forum in 2006, as a panellist at IATA's 2006, 2007 and 2008 legal symposia, and as chair of the Latin American civil aviation CEO conference from 2001 to 2006.
