Janne Kairo specialises in EU & competition law, information and communication technology, intellectual property, marketing and consumer law and media and entertainment. Mr Kairo has extensive experience in various regulatory issues, including interface of telecom and competition regulation and public procurement matters.

Janne Kairo, previously partner in Borenius & Kemppinen, joined Roschier in 2005 and was appointed partner in 2007. Mr Kairo studied at the University of Helsinki (LLM 1996) and at the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall (LLM 2000). Mr Kairo speaks Finnish, Swedish and English.

Janne Kairo has been a member of the Finnish Bar since 2002. He is a member of the International Bar Association, the Finnish Competition Law Association and the Finnish Association for Industrial Property Rights (board member since 2006). Mr Kairo has written numerous articles in various international publications on topics such as merger control, telecoms regulation and general competition law.
