Valerie Kwok is a director of the banking and corporate department at Drew & Napier LLC. In practice for over a decade, Valerie has been recognised by Asia Pacific Legal 500 for her expertise in corporate and mergers & acquisitions work. She also specialises in banking and finance work, acting for major local banks and offshore lenders and lending syndicates as well as large borrowing corporations.

Valerie has extensive experience in financing transaction work, covering bilateral and syndicated loans, bond issues, acquisition financings and debt restructurings and rescheduling. Valerie's portfolio also includes acting for major local and international investment and property development groups in business and asset acquisition financings, as well as property construction financings involving residential condominium projects, as well as commercial shopping and retail real estate in Singapore. She has been involved in various bank mergers, establishments and licensing. Valerie also advises financial institutions extensively on the post-liberalisation banking and finance laws and regulations in Singapore.

Valerie has spoken at various public seminars in Singapore and is also an adjunct tutor for graduate and postgraduate students on topics ranging from finance to corporate laws.
