Biography: Real Estate
Michael R Boulden's practice covers a wide range of real estate finance matters. His experience includes construction and permanent lending on commercial real estate; joint ventures, and other equity participations involving the formation and negotiation of limited partnerships and limited liability companies; participating mortgages; real estate workouts; ranch acquisitions and operations; oil and gas leasing; and Islamic Finance. Mr Boulden has also handled financing for the acquisition and development of commercial real estate portfolios, with direct security in real estate and mortgage loans.Mr Boulden's extensive experience has earned him recognition in many publications including, most recently, The Best Lawyers in America as a leader in real estate law, 2003-2007; Chambers USA as a leading lawyer in real estate law, 2003-2007; and Texas Monthly as a 'Texas Super Lawyer' in real estate law, 2004-2006.
Mr Boulden obtained his BA from Rice University in 1973 and his JD from Southern Methodist University in 1977.
