Biography: Product Liability

Bob Schick is a partner and co-head of the firm's litigation section. For over 25 years, he has tried cases to jury verdicts as well as bench and arbitration trials.

Bob's diverse trial experience has included cases in the products liability, environmental, and commercial energy-related areas. He handles complex tort and class-wide litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. His clients have asked him to defend cases in California, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, and throughout the state of Texas.

Bob serves as primary firm counsel for a major pharmaceutical manufacturer in numerous suits filed in the Southwest, served as lead nationwide counsel for a company whose product is the subject of litigation asserted as state-wide class actions in eight states, and as two nation-wide class actions, and as lead counsel for the primary potentially responsible party in a CERCLA case filed in federal court in Colorado.

Bob is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialisation in civil trial law and personal injury trial law, and has been recognised as a leading lawyer by Chambers USA: America's Leading Business Lawyer (general commercial litigation), The Best Lawyers in America (personal injury litigation), Legal Media Group's Guide to the World's Leading United States Litigation Lawyers and as a 'Texas Super Lawyer' by Texas Monthly (class action/mass torts litigation).

Bob obtained his AB from Princeton University in 1976 and his JD from the University of Houston in 1981.
