Jay H Zimbler is a partner who focuses on federal income tax matters with an emphasis on contested matters, Subchapter C and the taxation of foreign related transactions. Mr Zimbler has handled complex appellate cases for a variety of multinational corporations nationwide. In 1996, Mr Zimbler was named one of the Midwest's top six tax advisers by the
International Tax Review. He has been a speaker at the University of Chicago Tax Conference, Colorado Springs Tax Institute, Bank Administration Tax Institute Tax Conference, Tax Executives Institute, the World Trade Institute, International Fiscal Association and the Chicago Bar Association. He is also a former chair of the Chicago Bar Association's foreign tax committee and former co-chair of the ABA Section of Taxation's Subcommittee on Direct Investment in the US by Foreign Persons. Mr Zimbler is a CPA and a fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel.
