Matthew J Mallow, head of the firm's corporate finance group, represents investment banks and issuers in a variety of financing matters. He has advised investment banks such as Merrill Lynch & Co, Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley and exchanges such as NASDAQ and NYMEX.

Mr Mallow has represented the underwriters or the issuers in some of the largest IPOs in US history, including IPOs by The Pepsi Bottling Group, Conoco, Coca-Cola Enterprises, First Data Corporation and Conrail. In addition, Mr Mallow also represents, among others, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, BlackRock and several biotech companies.

Mr Mallow is a trustee of Brown University, has been a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School on the securities law framework of private placements in a course entitled "Entrepreneurial Management" and is the former chair of the securities regulation committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
