Logan Wright is a partner with Clifford Chance and heads the banking and finance practice in the firm's Moscow office, where Logan has been resident for the past eight years. The practice includes three partners and approximately 30 common and Russian-law qualified associates who focus solely on bank lending into Russia and other countries within the CIS, and who cover the full range of bank products, including trade finance, project finance/PPP, acquisition finance and real estate finance.

Logan primarily advises major western financial institutions on loans to Russian corporates and banks, but also advises a select number of local borrowers. His industry experience includes energy, oil and gas, metals and mining, telecommunications, and real estate. Recently, Logan has represented large bank syndicates lead by ABN AMRO on an up to US$4bn secured financing for UC Rusal and on a US$3.2bn secured financing for Evraz, and BNP Paribas on a US$2bn secured financing for TANECO for the construction of an oil refinery in Tatarstan. In addition, Logan is currently working on structuring limited recourse project financings in the power and the oil sectors.

Logan began his career with Bell Gully in New Zealand, where he worked in the corporate/energy team, and joined Clifford Chance in early 2000. Logan was promoted to the position of partner with Clifford Chance in May 2006. He originally qualified as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand in January 1999, and further qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2006.
