Biography: Management Labour and Employment

Steven R Wall is the global practice leader of Morgan Lewis's labour and employment practice and Morgan Lewis Resources, the firm's technology, immigration, training, and employment audit and counselling enterprise.

Resident in the Philadelphia office, Mr Wall is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day operation of the labour and employment practice and Morgan Lewis Resources across each of the firm's offices. Mr Wall also serves on the firm's advisory board.

Mr Wall's practice focuses on employment litigation matters in federal and state courts and before several administrative agencies, with an emphasis on class-based discrimination and collective bargaining issues. He has tried more than 12 employment cases to verdict in federal and state courts.

Mr Wall has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on the National Labor Relations Act, various federal and state discrimination laws, the Fair Labor Standards Act, preventive labour relations, and reductions in force.

He also advises and represents clients in collective bargaining, labour arbitrations, and business strategy issues. He represents clients in a variety of fields, including the retail, healthcare, service and banking industries.

Mr Wall clerked with Judge James Hunter III in the US Court of Appeals for the third circuit. Mr Wall is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, and is a fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
