Patricia A Vlahakis is a partner at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, which she joined in 1981. Ms Vlahakis practises corporate and securities law, concentrating on transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, hostile takeovers, cross-border transactions and private equity investments, and corporate governance.

Ms Vlahakis has lectured extensively and published numerous articles in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities law and corporate governance. She served for five years as co-chair of the Practising Law Institute's Annual Institute on Securities Regulation, and is currently a member of the advisory board for the Annual Securities Regulation Institute. Ms Vlahakis graduated from Bryn Mawr College and Columbia University School of Law.

Patricia A Vlahakis joined Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in 1981 and became a partner in 1988. Ms Vlahakis practises corporate and securities law, concentrating on transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, hostile takeovers, cross-border transactions and private equity investments, as well as corporate governance.

Ms Vlahakis graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a BA, summa cum laude, in 1978 and from Columbia University School of Law with a JD in 1981.

Ms Vlahakis is a member of the American Bar Association. She has lectured extensively and published numerous articles in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities law and corporate governance. She served for five years as co-chair of the Practising Law Institute's Annual Institute on Securities Regulation and is currently a member of the advisory board for the Annual Securities Regulation Institute. Ms Vlahakis serves as a member of the board of directors of Phoenix House Foundation Inc, a not-for-profit organisation for the treatment and prevention of drug addiction.
