Pierre Véron is the honorary president of EPLAW, the European Patent Lawyers Association, and of the French Association of Patent Litigators (Association des Avocats de Propriété Industrielle); he has taught European patent litigation at the CEIPI (International Centre of Industrial Property Studies) in Strasbourg; he is a member of the group of expert judges and lawyers assisting the EU commission in the setting up of a European and Community Patents Court.
Pierre Véron is the editor of Saisie-Contrefaçon, a book published by the leading French publisher Dalloz (2nd edition 2005) and of Concise International and European Intellectual Property Law, published by Kluwer Law International in 2008; he is also the author of more that 50 publications on patent litigation.
He has presented numerous reports on behalf of the AIPPI French group and has also acted as officer of various international AIPPI committees.
Having an interest in arbitration, he is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
