Biography: Corporate Tax

Dr Thomas Töben has over 20 years of experience in tax law and advises on the restructuring and reorganising of businesses and partnerships, M&A-transactions, taxation of real property investments, and privatisation of state-owned companies. He is consistently ranked among the top lawyers for his tax expertise.

He graduated from Hamburg University in 1981 and was a lecturer at Hamburg University until 1987. He was a partner of a major German law firm from 1990 to 1995, German resident partner of an international law firm from 1996 to 2000, and joined P+P Pöllath + Partners as a partner in April 2000. He has frequently lectured on international tax law and written numerous articles on tax matters. He is lecturer at Westfälische Wilhems-Universität of Münster.
