Biography: Insolvency & Restructuring

Dr Annerose Tashiro, head of Schultze & Braun cross-border restructuring and insolvencies department, is an attorney and advises in corporate recovery situations. Her work includes case management in cross-border assignments for German office-holders and acting as special German counsel on US chapter 7 and 11 proceedings. She advises German creditors in US chapter 7 and 11 cases, and foreign creditors on German restructuring and insolvency scenarios, especially in the automotive and finance sector. Her debtor work also includes debt restructuring and business recovery consulting. She advises in distressed M&A cases (predominantly retail, traditional industry and new energy).

Among others, she is member of INSOL Europe, the German-Japanese Lawyers' Association, IWIRC (board member and co-chair of IWIRC Europe), the American Bankruptcy Institute and the International Insolvency Institute.

Annerose is the joint chief editor of turnaround magazine Eurofenix and co-chair of the ABI's international committee.

She is a regular panel member at international insolvency and restructuring conferences, and has published many essays and contributions to books and comments on this subject.
