Gary B Stern is a partner in Sidley's Chicago office, practising in domestic and international finance transactions. Mr Stern has experience in syndicated, leverage and asset-based financing with a particular expertise representing lenders, investors and borrowers in film financing transactions. Mr Stern has also done extensive work in the securitisation industry representing many different parties in transactions involving a variety of assets classes such as auto loans, intellectual property royalties and revenue streams, trade receivables, mortgage loans, servicer advances and timeshares.Mr Stern is a member of both the American and the Chicago bar associations and is admitted to the Illinois Bar. He received his JD (cum laude, Order of the Coif) from Northwestern University School of Law in 1982 and his BA from University of Michigan in 1979.
