Gary B Stern is a partner and serves as head of Sidley's banking and securitisation group. His practice includes domestic and international securitisations and structured finance transactions. His clients include commercial paper conduits, investment banks, commercial banks, monoline insurance companies and multinational corporations. Mr Stern has represented various parties to securitisation transactions, including investors, sellers, servicers and providers of credit enhancement and liquidity support. He has been involved in securitising many different asset classes, including credit cards, auto loans, equipment leases, trade receivables, mortgage loans and timeshares and, recently, his practice has had a particular emphasis on using commercial paper conduits for unique asset classes such as film distribution revenues, sports leagues, teams and stadium revenues and royalties from copyrights and trademarks.

Mr Stern is a member of the American and Chicago Bar Associations.
