Mr Satzky specialises in German and European competition and antitrust law, principally merger control and article 101/102 TFEU cases. He is also experienced in coordinating multi jurisdictional filings.
Recent competition-related cases handled by Mr Satzky include: acquisition by Deutsche Bank of Sal Oppenheim; acquisition by JCDecaux SA of Wall; state liability claim of GN Store Nord against Germany for an unlawful merger prohibition by the Federal Cartel Office; acquisition by Software AG of IDS Scheer; acquisition by Deutsche Bank of Postbank; representation of Deutscher Fussball-Bund in antitrust proceedings before the German Federal Cartel Office.
He has published several books and articles on European and German competition law.
