Peter Rogan stepped down as Ince & Co's senior partner and head of the firm's insurance business group in March 2008, returning to his role as a leading insurance and reinsurance practitioner advising the London and international markets on major issues.

Peter's reinsurance practice is litigation-orientated and diverse, acting for clients from both London and overseas, on non-marine, aviation and marine insurance disputes. In direct insurance, his practice is broad, encompassing a variety of classes, most significantly professional indemnity insurance for brokers, accountants, banks and solicitors. He has advised in a range of high-value cases arising from major market losses and disputes since the late 1980's. Reported cases included the House of Lords decision in Pan Atlantic Insurance Co Ltd and another v Pine Top Insurance Co Ltd, the leading English Authority on non-disclosure and misrepresentation. More recently Peter headed the teams in major reinsurance arbitrations arising from the Unicover matter and the PA spiral.

Peter is past chair of the International Bar Association Insurance Committee, and a member of ARIAS (UK) committee. He is a regular speaker on the international circuit and regularly addresses the market on key topics.
