Biography: Capital Markets

Glenn M Reiter is a partner in the firm's corporate department. Mr Reiter advises clients on a broad range of capital markets transactions, including domestic US securities offerings, cross-border securities offerings and other international corporate finance transactions. He also has extensive experience involving merger and acquisition transactions. Mr Reiter represents US and non-US corporations, government-related entities and leading investment banks in equity offerings (including initial public offerings and follow-on offerings), debt offerings (including investment grade, high-yield, Yankee bond and Eurobond offerings), structured financings, debt restructurings, liability management transactions, and merger and acquisition transactions among other types of corporate transactions. In recent years, Mr Reiter has been active in transactions involving Latin America, the Caribbean, Canada and Europe in addition to the United States.

Mr Reiter is ranked among the leading capital market lawyers in the United States and the world by publications such as Chamber Global, Chambers USA, Euromoney Expert Guides, The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers, Practical Law Company's Global Counsel Handbooks and The Best Lawyers in America.

Mr Reiter was managing partner of the firm's London office from 1986 to 1990.

Mr Reiter is a member of the American Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He is a member of the Bar of the States of New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey and the District of Columbia.

Mr Reiter joined the firm in October 1978 and became a partner in November 1984. He received his BA degree summa cum laude from Yale College in 1973, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his JD degree from Yale Law School in 1976, where he was a note editor of the Yale Law Journal. He served from 1976 to 1977 as a law clerk to the honorable Arlin M Adams, United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit.
