In 2006, Mr Reasoner was personally appointed to the Texas Access to Justice Commission by the Supreme Court of Texas. He is also the recipient of the 'Lifetime of Excellence in Advocacy Award' by the Texas Association of Civil and Appellate Specialists.
Mr Reasoner is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, International Academy of Trial Lawyers, International Society of Barristers and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and American Law Institute. He was chair of the ABA section of antitrust law. Mr Reasoner has been recognised as one of the leading business trial lawyers in Texas and the nation by the spectrum of legal directories and attorney rating publications.
He was educated at Rice University (BA 1960), the University of Texas School of Law (JD 1962) and the University of Houston (Rotary Foundation Fellow 1962-63). He was a law clerk for Judge Charles E Clark in the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit (1963-1964).
