Biography: Franchise

Dr Karl Rauser is partner in the Munich office of Noerr and co-head of Noerr's distribution systems and logistics group. He has had long and extensive experience in advising companies of all sizes, from small and medium-sized companies (including start-ups) to franchise systems and companies in the most varied industries and sectors operating throughout the world.

Dr Rauser is counsel to one of the world's leading franchise systems and provides assistance in all franchise law issues, including corporate law and tax matters. His work includes all questions associated with the founding, national and international expansion and restructuring of distribution systems, including commercial agency law, distributorship law, corporate and commercial litigation, M&A transactions and joint ventures.

Dr Rauser is qualified as a lawyer as well as a tax consultant. He is a member of the German Lawyers Association, the German Tax Law Society and the International Franchise Association. He has published widely on franchise law and is contributor for franchising for www.internationallawoffice.com.
