Tommy Pettersson is a partner at Mannheimer Swartling and, together with Johan Carle, is co-chairman of its EU and competition law group. Over the years, Mr Pettersson has worked extensively on both EC competition matters and Swedish competition law, representing international and domestic clients before the European Court of First Instance, the European Commission, the Swedish Competition Authority, and Swedish courts and arbitration tribunals.

He has written numerous articles and spoken at several seminars on the subject of EC and competition law. For many years, he has also been engaged as a judge in the European Law Moot Court Society.

Mr Pettersson received his LLM from the University of Uppsala in 1985 and became a member of the Swedish Bar Association in 1990. He joined Mannheimer Swartling in 1987 and became a partner in 1993. Between 1993 and 1998, he was in charge of the firm's Brussels office.
