Mr Nowaczyk attended the University of Poznań (Master of Laws, 1976), judge in the Polish courts (1978 to 1981), admitted in: Poznań (1984), Paris (1993) and Warsaw (1994).
Piotr has built up the litigation and arbitration department in the Salans' Warsaw office from scratch. He has acted as counsel or arbitrator in ca. 150 arbitral proceedings, under the rules of the ICC, AAA-ICDR, CAC, CACI, CAS, CCCF, CCIR, CCP, CSGS, HCCI, IACA, ICANN, ICAC Kyiv, IHK, MAC Minsk, MCAC Moscow, NAF, PCC, PIIT, Swiss Rules, VIAC, WIPO, UNCITRAL and other ad hoc arbitration.
Piotr's main areas of practice include; intellectual property, FIDIC construction contracts, investment, banking, military industry, energy, oil & gas, international sales, sport, M&A and joint ventures.
Numerous articles on court and arbitration proceedings. Speaker on many international conferences, teaches arbitration at the Warsaw Bar. He speaks fluent Polish, English, French, German, Russian, Italian.
