Biography: Real Estate

Mr Neveloff's practice concentrates on real estate, restructurings and other commercial transactions.

Mr Neveloff represents numerous nationally recognised real estate developers and owners in the development, operation and financing of real estate, institutional and other ventures in the acquisition and sale of property, as well as major international financial institutions in commercial lending transactions, restructurings and workouts.

Mr Neveloff has represented developers of numerous mixed-use projects, including Time Warner Center (a joint development among The Related Companies, Apollo Investments, Time Warner and Mandarin Hotels), and numerous Donald Trump developed projects throughout the United States, as well as numerous regional shopping centres, and other commercial projects throughout the country.

Mr Neveloff regularly represents numerous lending and other financial institutions in restructuring loans and other business relationships, and in the development of new and innovative financing products. Recently, Mr Neveloff represented the seller in the sale of the St Vincent's Hospital complex in Manhattan, Africa Israel in the sale of the upper portion of the former New York Times Building in Times Square, New York Life Insurance Company in the sale of Manhattan House, a residential complex comprising an entire block on the upper east side of Manhattan, and the owner of Starrett City, the largest federally subsidised housing complex in the US, in a major capital transaction. Mr Neveloff is also a leading practitioner of innovative hotel projects, including the Plaza Hotel, St Regis, Trump International and Trump Soho in New York City. Mr Neveloff served as the vice chair of the American Bar Association committee on partnerships, joint ventures and other investment vehicles. He is an active member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, American College of Mortgage Attorneys and American Law Institute.
