Mr Neocleous has served as a member of the Cyprus Parliament and of the Cyprus Bar Council. He is currently a member of the International Bar Association, of the International Academy of Tax Advisors and of the international tax planning committee of the Cyprus Bar Association. He is also a member of the Congress of Fellows of the Centre for International Legal Studies and an associate of the American Bar Association. In 2004 he was elected vice president of the Mediterranean Maritime Arbitration Association. He is a board member of several leading international companies.
Mr Neocleous' main areas of practice are general commercial law, tax and corporate law, banking and insurance law, arbitration law, and maritime law. His particular forte lies in international corporate and tax law and cross-border investments. His clients include banks and financial institutions, multinational corporations and high net worth individuals in EU and other European countries and beyond.
Mr Neocleous frequently participates as a speaker at international conferences and is the author of many articles. He is the architect of Introduction to Cyprus Law, a unique, comprehensive English-language guide to Cyprus law. He is fluent in English and Greek.
