Biography: Aviation

Ms Freidenberg, partner at Freidenberg, Freidenberg & Lifsic, provides comprehensive advice on commercial aviation for Argentina and other Latin American countries in regulatory, contentious, insurance, tax, finance, labour, immigrations, customs, aircraft, airport and interline contracts.

She is a speaker at international conferences on aviation: the Lloyd's of London Press Conferences; Embry-Riddle University; IATA Legal Symposium; Aviation Law Association of Australia and New Zealand; Copa Legal Symposium; ALA (Asociación Líneas Aéreas de Costa Rica); BAR Association of Montevideo, Uruguay; IAWA (International Aviation Women's Association Meetings); Asociacao Brasileira de Direito Aeronautico e Espacial, Brasil; Southern Methodist University; ALTA; ACI.

She is the Argentine expert in air legislation for the Guide to the World's Leading Aviation Lawyers of the International Finance Law Review published by Euromoney. IATA has nominated her as arbitrator in several arbitrages started by travel agents in disputes with airlines. She is the Argentine contributor to Getting the Deal Through – Air Transport 2007 onwards, published by Law Business Research.

She is a member of the advisory board of the Journal of Air Law and Commerce (Southern Methodist University School of Law) international correspondent of Warsaw Convention (Giemulla/Schmid) published by Kluwer Law and Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. She is also a member of the advisory board of IAWA (International Aviation Women's Association) and judge for the Moot Courts held by Leyden University in Holland and India.

She is a professor at the Instituto Nacional de Derecho Aeronáutico y Espacial (INDAE) of the Argentine Air Force for the Master's degree in air law.
