Thomas Müller's practice focuses on litigation and arbitration, attachment of assets, enforcement of judgments and international legal assistance in civil and criminal matters. He has extensive experience in rendering advice on and representation of clients in company law, international trade law, employment law, joint ventures and financial restructurings. Thomas Müller is regularly acting as party counsel and as arbitrator in large and mid-size international arbitrations. In addition, he represents clients before the Swiss courts in commercial and company law matters and in employment law disputes. Thomas Müller has published several articles on litigation and arbitration topics. He is a co-editor of the Kommentar zum Bundesgesetz über den Gerichtsstand in Zivilsachen and a co-author of the Swiss commentary on the Lugano Convention.
Thomas Müller graduated from the University of Zurich in 1974 (lic iur) and received his doctorate in 1982 (Dr iur, magna cum laude). He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1983 (LLM). Before joining Homburger in 1983, he was a substitute judge at the Zurich District Court.
