Reported UK IP trials in the life sciences sector, which she has been involved include Research Corporation's SPC, Reckitt & Coleman v Richardson Vicks, Allergan v Merz Pharma, Proctor & Gamble v Reckitt Benckiser, Baxter Healthcare v Abbott Laboratories, Edwards Lifesciences v Corevalve and most recently Kuros Biosurgery AG v Baxter Healthcare.
In recent years she has been particularly involved in the coordination and running of various pan-European patent actions involving several jurisdictions in Europe not always including the United Kingdom. For example the patent litigation between Baxter v Pharmacia & Upjohn/Genetics Institute (in the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany and before the ICC), between NovoNordisk v DSM (in the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany), between GlaxoWellcome ats Hoffman-La Roche (in Belgium and Germany), Allergan (in the UK, the Netherlands and Sweden), and Edwards Lifesciences v Cook Biotech (in the UK and Germany).
As well as IP litigation she has recently been the lead advocate in major cross-border biotech arbitration.
In the 2011 edition of major legal directory Chambers UK, Morag was hailed as having 'an excellent reputation for representing parties in multijurisdictional patent disputes", with clients commenting that she is "a human sponge, mastering the facts of a case and understanding all the moving parts of related litigation across different jurisdictions."
