Biography: Aviation

Rory Kelleher is a partner in Sidley's New York office. His practice focuses on finance matters, including aircraft finance, equipment leasing and structured finance.

In the equipment financing area, Mr Kelleher has represented major manufacturers of aircraft, aircraft engines and rail transportation products and US finance and leasing companies in both domestic and international finance transactions, single investor, leveraged and cross-border lease transactions and other structured financings and securitisations.

Mr Kelleher has been recognised by Chambers USA 2010 in Transportation: Aviation: Finance (national) and Banking & Finance: Equipment Finance & Leasing (New York).

Mr Kelleher received his JD (Law Review, Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar) from Columbia University School of Law in 1972 and his BA from Fordham University in 1969. Admissions: US District Court, SD of New York; New York, 1973.
