Roxann Henry joined Howrey LLP in 1980 after a federal court clerkship and has extensive experience in all aspects of civil and criminal antitrust practice.

She represents clients in merger and non-merger investigations before the US Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission and state attorney general offices and coordinates reviews of mergers among international competition agencies. She handles acquisitions involving a wide range of industries including telecommunications, medical technologies, aerospace and defence, construction and mining, information technologies, industrial and research equipment products, petroleum, specialty chemicals, and many consumer and food products.

Ms Henry regularly represents clients in antitrust grand jury investigations, including international cartel matters, and has particular experience coordinating defences worldwide in the context of a multiplicity of criminal, civil and administrative actions. Individuals, closely held companies and large corporate industry leaders in the US and abroad have entrusted their defence to Ms Henry and, when necessary, she has vindicated clients as lead counsel at jury trial. She serves as lead counsel in various complex civil commercial disputes including antitrust, RICO, contract and tort claims and regularly provides antitrust and trade practices counseling on advertising issues, competitor relations, distribution concerns, compliance and audit programmes, and merger and acquisition clearance.

Ms Henry is currently serving as co-chair of the spring meeting programme of the antitrust section of the American Bar Association (ABA), has previously served as secretary and communications officer and council member. She recently served as co-chair of the international cartel workshop (2006). She is also a frequent speaker on various antitrust issues.
