Mr Grammig has practised for over 30 years in the areas of public company mergers and acquisitions, securities law, general corporate law and international business transactions. He has represented both companies and underwriters in numerous public company offerings. He has led legal teams on behalf of acquirers, target companies and special committees in a large number of publicly announced merger and acquisition transactions, a number of which are valued at greater than US$1 billion. He has devoted a substantial part of his practice to international business transactions, representing both United States and foreign entities, including representations involving significant transactions in Asia, Europe and Latin America. He also regularly advises on corporate governance issues. He regularly participates as a panellist in KPMG's Audit Committee Institute. Mr Grammig holds a JD degree from Harvard Law School. He received his BA degree, summa cum laude, and his MA degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, he served as a law clerk to the Honourable Thomas A Clark, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits. He has been recognised in Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA, Lawdragon's Top 500 Dealmakers, Florida Legal Elite and SuperLawyers.
