Biography: Commercial Litigation
David Gold is the senior partner at Herbert Smith. He is often involved in large-scale commercial litigation, much of it with an international dimension. Clients he has advised include FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies, major investment banks and high-profile individuals. In addition to general contract disputes, David's practice includes partnership and shareholder disputes, banking (notably derivatives related) litigation, commercial fraud, professional indemnity claims, computer-related litigation and defamation. He has wide experience of all types of injunctive remedy, and considerable experience of conducting litigation in various jurisdictions.
