Valentina Gluhovskaya is the managing partner of Norton Rose (Central Europe) LLP. She joined Norton Rose in 1992 and was elected to Norton Rose's worldwide partnership in 1997.

Valentina has over 20 years' experience of advising on corporate finance, energy and real estate transactions, and litigation in Russia. She is recognised in legal directories as a leading Russian real estate lawyer, describing her as a "fantastic, strong and experienced individual" and "one of the market's standout practitioners".

Valentina has particular expertise in advising both developers and investors on the structuring of acquisitions and disposals, and on the structuring of security packages. She has a strong and experienced knowledge of dispute resolution issues and has successfully conducted litigation arising from highly complex real estate and commercial disputes.

Valentina leads a team of real estate lawyers for which Norton Rose (Central Europe) LLP is recognised as a tier one practice for real estate work in a number of legal directories. The practice offers a comprehensive service, including: acquisitions of property rights to real estate including privatisation, sale-and-purchase, lease, investment contracts and disposals of real estate; financing of real estate transactions (including all aspects of collateral, guarantees, pledges and mortgage); commercial use of real estate, including sale and leasing of administrative and residential buildings, hotels, shopping centres, industrial enterprises and land plots; licensing and permit requirements; construction-related agreements (agreements with architects, technical customers, contractors and governmental authorities); advising on the regulation of land law relationships, both at the federal level and at the regional and local level; corporate aspects of transactions with real estate, including extensive experience of high profile acquisitions and disposals of shares in companies with real estate assets; and resolution of disputes connected with real estate.

Valenitina graduated from the Law Faculty of the Moscow State University in 1987. She has been a member of the Moscow City Bar since 1990.
