Elliott Geisinger was admitted to the Bar in Switzerland in 1994, after obtaining a law degree at the University of Geneva in 1986 and a Master of Laws in 1990. From 1986 to 1992, he was a teaching and research assistant at the department of private international law of the Geneva Law Faculty. Elliott Geisinger was a trainee and then an associate with another business law firm in Geneva before joining Schellenberg Wittmer in 1996 and becoming a partner in 2002. He became vice-president of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) in 2010, after having been elected to the executive board of ASA in 2007. From 1999 to 2003, he sat on the arbitration committee of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is fluent in English, French and German and has a good reading knowledge of Italian.
Elliott Geisinger has published extensively in his fields of practice and has in particular co-authored an important work on the Swiss Private International Act.
