As well as working in London, Nicholas worked in the firm's Brussels office for many years, and most recently was based in the firm's Beijing office where he was co-head of the firm's antitrust, competition and trade practice group in China. Nicholas continues to travel regularly between these jurisdictions.
Nicholas advises on a wide range of UK, EU and Chinese competition issues across many industries, covering mergers and joint ventures, alliances and cooperation arrangements, distribution networks, as well as cartels and dominance/monopolisation inquiries. He is particularly active in the areas of manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, transport and consumer products.
Nicholas has spoken widely on competition issues, including, most recently, in Australia, China, Europe, Japan, South Korea and North America.
