He has been involved in more than 130 arbitrations (eg, sales agreements, agency and distribution, licensing, joint ventures, telecommunications, construction, M&A as well as sports disputes before the Court of Arbitration for Sport) and has been described as an 'outstanding counsel', with 'proficiency in multi-jurisdictional work', '24-hour availability' and delivering 'exceptionally good presentations' in recent arbitration directories.
Xavier Favre-Bulle is a lecturer in law at the University of Versailles (in the Masters course Arbitration and International Business Law) and the Swiss Arbitration Academy. He has also taught as a lecturer in law at the universities of Geneva, Lausanne and Savoie (France).
He is a member of various committees, such as the arbitration committee or the Geneva Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the national arbitration committee and special committee of the Swiss Chambers of Commerce. He was also president of the international arbitration commission of the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA).
He is a frequent speaker at conferences and the author of more than 40 books and articles.
