Biography: Mergers and Acquisitions
Cristián Eyzaguirre S is a partner at Eyzaguirre & Cía. He was admitted to practise in 1976 and from 1981 to 1982 worked at Norton Rose in London. From 1982 to 2000 he was professor of Commercial Law at the University of Chile. Cristián joined Claro & Cía in 1971 and was made partner in 1983. He separated his practise from Claro & Cía in January 2006. He is a member of the Chilean Bar, the Inter-American Bar, the New York State Bar Association and the International Bar Association.His practice concentrates on representing multinational clients in the planning, structuring and implementation of investments in Chile, both equity and financial, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and project finance. His banking and financial practice include the design and structuring of complex financial transactions comprising multilateral financing and cross-border flows.
