Biography: Competition

Ms Eyal-Boger is a partner at FBC. Together with the firm's managing partner, Reuven Behar, and with partner Talya Solomon she leads the firm's antitrust and competition practice.

Ms Eyal-Boger regularly represents major Israeli companies in all aspects of antitrust matters in Israel. She provides counsel and has broad experience in handling antitrust cases and complex economic litigation, including class action litigation. She represents companies in various proceedings and before various authorities, including before the Trade Restrictions Court, the antitrust commissioner, and civil and criminal courts.

Ms Eyal-Boger regularly assists Israeli and foreign companies in obtaining the approval of the Israel Antitrust Authority for mergers and acquisitions and investments and agreements containing restrictive provisions, and she provides counsel with respect to matters involving potential restrictive trade practices. She also works closely with companies to create and implement antitrust compliance programmes. Ms Eyal-Boger represents leading companies in a wide range of industries, including the banking, credit card, insurance, retail, communications, agriculture and automobile sectors.

Ms Eyal-Boger earned her LLB degree, cum laude, in 1994 from Tel Aviv University. She is called upon frequently to comment on antitrust issues, and periodically lectures at the Israel Bar Association, Tel Aviv University (a co-programme with the Israeli Antitrust Authority) and before various legal and business forums. She was invited by the Israeli Antitrust Authority to act as a non-governmental adviser to the European Commission at the International Competition Network.

In the last six surveys on the world's leading competition law practices, Global Competition Review's GCR 100 ranked FBC among the 100 leading firms worldwide in the competition area, and as an elite firm in the Israeli practice.
